Growing Days proudly accepts the Step Up for Students Scholarship as well as the Gardiner Scholarship for Students with Special Needs.
The Step Up for Students Tax Credit Scholarship is an income based scholarship awarded to families who apply and qualify, enrolling in Kindergarten - 12th Grade. The Gardiner Scholarship is awarded to families of children with special needs beginning at age 3. Child Care Food Program
Growing Days is proud to participate in the Florida Child Care Food Program. By working with the CCFP, Growing Days is able to offer healthy and delicious meals for Breakfast, Lunch and Afternoon Snack. Children are exposed to a variety of flavors and textures and with this program, we get to help the children expand their palette.
Because we work with this program, there is NO OUTSIDE FOOD ALLOWED. Students who have a dietary restriction or who suffer from food related allergies MUST provide a doctor's note in order for food to be brought in from home. Any food brought in for these children MUST be healthy and nutritious.
Please adhere to the following rules:
-NO FAST FOOD OF ANY KIND
-NO CANDY OR JUNK FOOD
-MEALS MUST REPLACE WHAT IS GIVEN AT SCHOOL
(BREAKFAST, LUNCH AND SNACK)
-NO PEANUT PRODUCTS ALLOWED
-ALL FOOD MUST COME WITH A COOL PACK OR, IF HEATED, IN A THERMOS.
TEACHERS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO STORE FOOD IN REFRIGERATORS AND
ARE NOT ALLOWED TO HEAT UP FOOD IN MICROWAVES.

Health and Safety Reminder 411 on the Flu!
Per school policy, children who are suffering from diarrhea, vomiting or fever (99 F or above) will not be permitted to attend school for a minimum of 24 hours unless they are accompanied by a doctor’s clearance note. If you child has suffered from the above mentioned while at home, we ask that you take the precautions and have him seen my a medical professional to rule out any potential viruses or contagious diseases.
We ask for your full cooperation in this matter to prevent the spread of disease to our children and staff. |
