Infant Program
In our infant class, children are exposed to a variety of developmental skills. Along with the families, teachers work hand in hand with each child to help them reach each milestone at the appropriate age. We provide a loving and nurturing environment for children 3-12 months. Using the Creative Curriculum, children are introduced to a variety of fine and gross motor skills and develop social-emotional skills, creating a foundation for life-long learners.

2 Year Toddlers
Our 2 Year-Toddler program continues the same values as our 1 Year-Toddler program, focusing on the child as a whole and introducing a more detailed academic program. Using the Creative Curriculum, children are introduced to the letters of the alphabet, numbers 1-10, colors of the rainbow and beyond and a variety of shapes, both 2D and 3D. Plans are catered to the individual child to help him or her reach the developmental milestones for children of this age level. Children in the 2 year-toddler classroom are exposed to a variety of new concepts like cutting and ripping all while being exposed to a variety of engaging centers choices. Lastly, teachers follow child driven cues and work hand-in-hand with parents to achieve potty training success.
**Children do not need to be potty trained to enter the 2 Year-Toddler class.**

3 Year Preschoolers
Our 3 Year Preschool Program changes gears and begins to give more focus to academics as a whole. Using the Creative Curriculum and working hand-in-hand with our VPK teachers, children are exposed to a weekly letter, number, color and shape. Students work in small groups with their teachers to gain knowledge on a variety of skills like letter recognition and sounds, number recognition, counting, patterning, sorting and grouping. Students are exposed to a variety of developmentally appropriate centers which focus on their cognitive, social-emotional and fine/gross motor skills.

Kindergarten and First Grade
At Growing Days, we wanted methods and materials that worked. That’s what we chose to follow the Miami Dade County Public School Curriculum choice of WONDERS for Language Arts and GO MATH for Mathematics.
Wonders © is an evidence-based K–5 ELA program that empowers students to take an active role in learning and exploration. Best-in-class differentiation and ELL resources support strong outcomes for all learners, and meaningful, authentic literature invites students to explore our world and learn more about themselves and each other in the process.
Our Kindergarten teacher, has over 12 years of experience working with preschool and kindergarten aged children. Her goal is to prepare your child for the outside world, while giving them the quality education you are looking for!
Our first grade program follows the Miami-Dade Public School Curriculum including the Journey Reading Program and Go Math! Because of our low teacher to student ratios, children are able to better understand concepts taught to them on a daily basis. Our 1st grade teacher provides hand on experiences for our student both in class and at home with families.

After School Care
Our after school care programs mission is to help all children who come to us for care, after they have completed the regular school day. Many parents need this service and we are proud to offer it here at Growing Days.
Our After School Care program offers:
- Daily afternoon snack: We provide a daily afternoon snack that is nutritious and delicious for all enrolled after school students.
- Homework Help: Our dedicated after school teachers work with students to help them complete homework assignments. We do not help with special projects or reports, as those are to be completed at home with the child's parents.
- Fun Activities: Once homework is complete, our after school children can play with a variety of manipulatives. We have fine and gross motor skill activities, coloring activities, puzzles and many books for them to read from. Our after school teachers also work together with the administration to develop fun experiments to do with the children!
- Outdoor Play: Students enrolled in our after school program have the opportunity to come from school and let go for a little while. We offer playground time twice each afternoon, encouraging children to play outdoors and engage in meaningful, fun play.

Our VPK programs follows the Florida VPK Standards while using the Houghton Mifflin "Pre-K" curriculum to help our students be successful. Each month, teachers will introduce a new Theme with three weekly sub-themes. Teachers focus on a variety of concepts in Language Arts and Reading, Math, Science and Social Studies. Children visit centers daily while teachers work with small groups, focusing on weekly concepts and skills. While in centers, children are developing social-emotional, cognitive and fine/gross motor skill. Teachers focus on developing the individual child as a whole, preparing them to be lifelong learners.
